OK...from my 1st Entry and 2nd Entry regarding this issue, here comes the 3rd version.
It has been 6 days...and ya, I really mean 6 DAYS without water supply from SYABAS. Is SYABAS trying to test our patients in this matter or what? If you really are, then you have over do it! I have been giving you(SYABAS) so many chances. I decided to complain this matter to someone with political background on friday afternoon. But i decided not to. This is juz because I felt like giving a little more time to SYABAS. Somtimes things need more time to get solved. So here I am after 2 days still without water supply.
Hey SYABAS, don't say I did not gave you any chances or time. You are overdoing it. Do you really need 6 days juz to solve a water/sewerage problem? I doubt so. It is either u guyz does not know your job well or you guyz can't be bothered about how the public feels!
Finally, I have called the media, TV3 to request help from them. I called them around 1.30pm juz now and talked to Mr Ali regarding this matter. He said that he will call SYABAS and then will give a feedback to me. So I m still waitting for his feedback. I hope that this matter will not fall into deaf ears again.
I'll not stop complaining about this matter till SYABAS can supply my area with constant water supply. So what are you waitting for SYABAS? Do your job or you want me to bring this matter higher up?

I have the same problem with Syabas. I'm living in Pandan Perdana... The constant almost monthly water disruption is not just the problem.
The water quality is also another problem. How could a private company that monopolise the water supply has such poor water quality...
Check the video out. The water turn my newly installed filter to brownish filty looking filter in minutes...

yatz>i called tv3 twice this afternoon.the staff asked me to email the chief editor regarding this matter as they themself(TV3) could not even contact SYABAS. nobody picked up the phone as told by the staff. I did ask TV3 to send their crew over but the reason given by Tv3 was..."tak cukup krew sebab semua pergi PWTC for UMNO function...see??but anyway, i have emailed the chief editor and CC to MCA cheras...will see wats the upcome.!!
Apparently, I was informed that SYABAS has fixed the leakage part but somehow they're afraid to pressure the new one, scare it will go damage again.
Like, WTF?

J@s0n i stay in Jalan 6/6 those shop houses. Talking about water pressure ppl that stay in 2 storey shop houses will take longer time to get the water in our tank.
Anyway they always say offer to send water tanker but i've shouted and commented that its no use for my area because the water tanker were sent to those double storey house near Safari.
J@s0n are you staying nearby? I've sent numerous email and called them up and ask for their Manager. Have spoken to a guy called Alex and Azizul... Both promise to send water tanker but what good is a water tanker when you have to drive out and carry the water back?
For the water quality problem this Mgr Alex has promise to call me back and follow up once this water disruption is over. Lets see what happen next.
cheekong>>yea i agree...they ask me wether i need a water tanker and i said not at the moment.i say i prefer this problem to be solved as soon as possible rather then supplying water via the water tanker.so troublesome.
i m staying at Jalan 1/10. I have been seeing several SYABAS water tanker come in and out frm pandan perdana..last nite around 10.30pm, i saw a SYABAS jeep wif few of its workers repairing somthing near the Taman Pudu Ulu junction. I tought that the problem will be solved but no...water came around 2am and around 10am, no water again..lucky i manage to store up some water..Hope that SYABAS are reading this man..as i have said, i have emailed TV3 and MCA reagarding this matter.And i guess they are not tech savvy enuf...never reply our emails...TV3 also pormised to gimme a feedback but till now, no news from them.
This has been going on since last year in Pandan Perdana. It comes without warning. You never know when its going to hit you!
Very annoying as well especially when you contact the PUSPEL 'helpline' and they are unable to provide with realistic reasons!
I have my doubts on the supply of water for this week and the next and the next.....
Sigh...only time will tell when this will all end.
great you have sent an email to MCA i have sent an email to Jenice Lee (DAP) too but unfortunately i accidentally deleted one of the mail from her assistant Dorothy cause it was classified as Spam.
Any updates and reply you got so far? The water was up yesterday can hear water flowing from the tank around evening. Luckily i've stored enough water at least for tonight.

Me... also staying in Cheras. The problem just started Sunday night without any notice at all. The water supply by Syabas are not clean enough for the kids.
Got some reply from Jenice Website, they are looking at this matter. The nightmare might end temporarily but this has been happening almost on a monthly basis... I think its time to buy more container to store water supply just in case :(
